“Falling” Into A Busy Schedule

The storm has passed, the sun is shining, temps are cool and we are looking ahead to an exciting upcoming schedule here at The Clayton Center.

There are only two weeks before we open our 2018-19 Palladian Series on Saturday, October 27, at 8 PM, with the Roots & Boots tour with Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin and Collin Raye. ALL tickets to this show—reserved seating and Standing Room Only—are SOLD OUT. What a great way to kick off our season!

Just two weeks later, on Friday, November 9, at 8 PM, we welcome singer/songwriter Royal Wood to the stage. This is Royal’s first stop in Clayton, and we know that our patrons are going to fall in love with him. One fan described him as “talented, personable and SO MUCH FUN!” We have been listening to his latest release, Ever After The Farewell, and we can’t wait for you to hear him perform live.

December is going to be a busy month! We “swing” in the holiday season with The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra on Friday, December 7, at 8 PM. Their holiday show is guaranteed to brighten the season. Enjoy holiday classics – along with your favorite American standards – performed by these extraordinary jazz musicians.

Local music will be abundant for the holiday season as well. We are hosting the new Around Town Singers and Orchestra in “A Clayton Christmas” on Saturday, December 1, at 7 PM. On December 2, at 6 PM, Tippy Toes Dance Studio presents its annual holiday performance of The Nutcracker.

The holiday schedule finishes with the Johnston County Chorus and their Christmas Spectacular on Saturday, December 15, at 2 and 7 PM.
