Count On Us

The Clayton Center cares about the well-being of all our patrons and clients. And you can count on us to do everything we possibly can to ensure your health and safety.

To help us accomplish that goal, our full-time staff has each completed the Count On Me NC training courses. Count On Me NC was created to help North Carolina businesses address and manage risks associated with COVID-19. The program provides businesses the knowledge and information necessary to manage COVID-19 as restrictions are relaxed. The courses provide a consistent approach based on state and national guidelines. Count On Me NC is sponsored by the North Carolina State Extension, in partnership with the NC Department of Health and Human Services, NC Restaurant and Lodging Association and Visit NC.

While auditorium programming is on hiatus, our staff is putting the Count On Me NC training to good use. We have been assisting with the daily cleaning of The Clayton Center. Our doors may not be open to the public, but all Town of Clayton operations that take place in the building are still happening. The Clayton Center staff has stepped up to support the Town’s facility maintenance staff in mitigating the spread of COVID-19 virus.

In addition to cleaning the building, The Clayton Center staff is also answering the Town’s main phone lines every weekday afternoon from 1:00-5:00 PM. If you need to call the Town during this time, please take a moment to say hello!
